How to prepare before meeting with a Notary Republic?

Please schedule a confirmation meeting with all the necessary details of the date, time, and location where the meeting will take place. This meeting will allow us to ensure that everyone is on the same page and is well prepared for the upcoming event. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.

Where will I meet with my Notary Agent?

Our Mobile Notary service is here to help you whenever and wherever you need it. Our 24/7 availability and willingness to meet you at a location of your choice, we prioritize your convenience above all else. No matter if it's day or night, our team is ready to assist you with your notary needs. Please don't hesitate to reach out to us for a hassle-free and efficient notary service experience.

Our office space upon request is at Lake Merritt Plaza at 1999 Harrison Street, 18th floor, Oakland, CA 94612 located in the Lake Merritt/Uptown section of Downtown Oakland at the corner of 19th street and Harrison Street, across from Lake Merritt/Snow Park.

  • The Lake Merritt Plaza is across the street from Lake Merritt and three blocks away from the 19th Street BART station.

  • Lake Merritt Plaza – Parking Garage is located at 1999 Harrison Street. Please be advised of the hourly secured parking garage.

What do I present to the Notary upon arrival?

Authorized Identification Documents.

  • For information or details regarding Identification Documents, please see the below section under Authorized Identification Documents, or contact the Notary Agent for more clarification.

  •  Complete Notarial Documents; Complete Documents that need to be notarized.

  • If you are unable to print your documents prior to your appointment, our notary agent can provide printing services in advance. Please note that there may be additional charges incurred for this service.

Authorized Identification Documents

• Identification /Driver's License issued by the Department of Motor Vehicles.

• United States Passport.

• An inmate identification card issued by the State of California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, if the inmate is in custody in a California State prison.

• A valid consular identification document issued by a consulate from the applicant’s country of citizenship, or a valid passport from the applicant’s country of citizenship.

• A driver’s license issued by another state or by a Canadian or Mexican public agency authorized to issue driver’s licenses.

• Current Military Identification Card.

• An employee identification card issued by an agency or office of the State of California, or an agency or office of a city, county, or city and county in California.

• An identification card issued by a federally recognized tribal government.

Can a Notary Public give legal advice?

• Notary Public is not permitted to offer any legal counsel or suggest which notarial certificate is necessary for any particular notarial act. Their primary duty is to verify documents and administer oaths or affirmations, among other notarial services. It is the responsibility of the individual seeking notarial services to determine the precise type of notarial certificate required for their specific document.

• Notary Publics are not authorized to provide immigration advice since they are not lawyers. It's best to consult a licensed immigration attorney for any legal advice regarding immigration matters.

Can you notarize incomplete documents?

Notary Public is prohibited from notarizing any incomplete document with missing portions which includes documents with blanks or missing pages. We are happy to help you when your documents are completed.

Can you notarize a non-English document?

Notary Public may notarize documents in any language, as long as the notarial certificate is in English, and the documents are complete and do not have any missing details.

Payment Methods?

We accept various forms of payment, such as: cash, approved checks, card and electronic payments. Experience peace of mind with our secure electronic payment system designed to provide you with the utmost safety and security. Personal checks are not accepted. GSNSS does not accept Personal Checks as a form of payment.

How much are the travel fees?

We offer reasonable Travel fees that vary per scenario and accommodation as we are a 24-hour Notary Service. Please be advised that travel fees will be discussed and included in the total upon your arrival at the appointment.
